WHY: we LOVE our corgis!!
This picnic site is more rustic (read dirt/leaves not grass) and more public than our former site in Burbank, but...it's FREE!! I have to be there when the park opens at dawn to rope the place off, but that's a small 'price' for an unbroken sequence of So Cal Corgi Picnics! The parking is closer and so is the restroom!
There will be no Corgi Corral this year and there will definitely NOT be any agility equipment. No unleashed dogs 'cuz this site is on the street. I saw lotsa squirrels and even a CDX might be tempted!
All else remains the same: potluck, musical mats, donations to CorgiAid (even more since the park is free), silent auction, good friends, and CORGIS!!
